Five years is a long wait for a new Rick Ross solo album, and it looks like the Biggest Boss picked a strong way to end it. Set In Stone, his 12th studio album, drops this Friday, July 17, and he’s just handed fans the complete 19-track lineup features and all.

This is Ross’ first solo project since 2021’s “Richer Than I Ever Been”, and judging by the guest list, he didn’t come back quiet. Don Toliver shows up twice. T.I., Gucci Mane, and Kodak Black are all in the mix, alongside French Montana, Max B, Yung Miami, The-Dream, and a handful of others. It’s a tracklist that pulls from multiple eras of hip-hop rather than sitting in one lane the whole way through.
The album is coming through Maybach Music Group under an exclusive license to Gamma. It was originally set for a June release before quietly getting pushed back a few weeks Ross never really explained why, but the extra time seems to have gone toward locking in the final round of features.

The Features Say a Lot on Their Own
Track 7 is the one longtime fans will probably click first. “Maybach Music VII” continues one of Ross’ longest-running series, and pairing it with Don Toliver instead of the usual rap-heavy lineup is a real shift from the formula. Toliver also opens the album on “Caviar Bumps,” so whatever chemistry the two found clearly convinced Ross to run it back.
The rest of the guest list keeps things balanced. Gucci Mane, T.I., and Kodak Black anchor the project in the sound Ross built his name on, while BigXthaPlug and Leon Thomas bring in some of the genre’s current energy. Yung Miami closes out the features on “She’s My Star,” which feels fitting given Ross’ whole Miami-built persona.
When You Can Hear It
Set In Stone lands everywhere this Friday, July 17. With how long the wait has been and how packed this rollout already is, don’t be shocked if a few more surprises surface before the album actually hits streaming.
